= Clean Air Delivery Rate
is the key industry standard for rating the overall efficiency and
effectiveness of indoor air purifiers. CADR is defined as the measure
of the delivery of contaminant-free air by an air purifier, expressed
in cubic feet per minute. CADR testing measures three contaminants:
smoke, dust and pollen. Smoke is measured on a scale of 25 to 450,
dust on a scale of 10 to 400, and pollen on a scale of 25 to 450.
